Hellenic Air Force Virtual (HAFv) simulates a unique and demanding segment of IVAO operations, combining the complexities and challenges of standard aviation with specialized missions such as aerial firefighting, search and rescue, surveillance, air supply, and more. This creates an engaging and dynamic environment for aviation enthusiasts seeking both excitement and realism.

Established in 2005 by Dimitris Pastarmatzis and a small group of like-minded individuals, HAFv was created to replicate the operations of the Hellenic Air Force in a virtual setting. In 2019, we revitalized the Hellenic Air Force Virtual, reuniting both veteran and new members of the flight simulation community. HAFv welcomes pilots across various platforms, including Microsoft Flight Simulator, P3D, X-Plane, and others.

HAFv operates exclusively within the IVAO network, ensuring that all online flights adhere to the highest standards of virtual aviation. Our operations encompass flight regulations, ratings, training, exercises, both individual and group missions, as well as a diverse array of aircraft—ranging from fighter jets to helicopters.

We offer comprehensive training conducted by experienced pilots, with the goal of gradually enhancing our members’ skills and knowledge in virtual flight. Our members also enjoy a dedicated Discord server, where they can engage in daily discussions, share advice, and connect in a friendly and supportive environment.
