About Hellenic Air Force Virtual
Welcome to Hellenic Air Force Virtual (HAFvirtual), a dedicated virtual Special Operations Group within the International Virtual Aviation Organisation (IVAO) network, committed to authentically simulating the operations of the real Hellenic Air Force (HAF).
Our Origins
Established in 2005 by Dimitris Pastarmatzis and a group of military aviation enthusiasts, HAFv aims to replicate the missions and operations of the real Hellenic Air Force. In 2019 we relaunched the legendary HAFvirtual, welcoming both veteran and new members to continue our commitment to a realistic military flight simulation experience.
Our Mission
Operating exclusively within the IVAO network, HAFvirtual offers a comprehensive virtual military aviation experience. Our activities encompass a wide range of operations, including combat flights, aerial firefighting, search and rescue, surveillance, air supply, and more, reflecting the diverse missions of the real HAF.
Training and Development
We provide structured training programs led by experienced pilots, focusing on instrument flight procedures and military aviation standards. Our training emphasizes safety, realism, and adherence to international aviation regulations, ensuring members develop proficiency in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Community Engagement
